A friend of mine posted this video on FaceBook.  If there weren't some gullible people out there that would soak this up, this is downright funny.

I came across this on the Yahoo message boards.  I requested and was granted permission to repeat here.  I invite others to see if the math makes sense.

Dear Congressman Klein:

I write to you to express my disappointment that you voted for telecom immunity. I didn’t know how you would vote but I felt sure that you would vote against it. When I saw the list of who voted for it and saw your name on the list, I was shocked. I don’t get it. At worst, these companies were at risk of losing money. A great deal of money, no doubt. But still, it is only money. How can anyone put money ahead of the violation of the constitution?

With the new book coming out that attacks Obama, it is time to start thinking about how to return the favor to Senator McCain.  The Anti-Obama book cannot be stopped. And to talk about it publicly only gives it fuel.  So I am advocating attacking McCain instead.

It was the wrong war.  That doesn't matter.  We are there now.  Well, it does matter.  My friends, this is going to be a short diary.  Because, I'm going to distill this entire war thing down to its fundamental core.  

Now that we have a nominee, I started thinking about what attacks the repubs will bring.  What sort of base vile crap will they think of?  

I'd like to list everything I can think of.  Then, as they come out, we can check them off the list.

I'll admit that this is somewhat wacky thinking.  So if you disagree with me, I won't take offense.  I'm just glad we're no longer talking about the primary.

Let's talk about something else for a few minutes.

The idea of splitting Florida into two states was floated out there about a month ago.  This comes up once in a while.  This time it got some media attention, at least locally.  At issue was the fact that south Florida puts more money into the state than we get back.  Financially, north Florida is like one huge welfare recipient.  It would not be such a crazy thing to do.

Political bloggers and others that use the Internet to communicate for political reasons are just the beginning of what will come.  We on dkos represent the prototype.

I know everyone wants to talk about Hillary Clinton every minute of every day. Let's quit drinking from the same old koolaid cup for a while.   For years, I've been getting offers from DirecTV to switch from cable to them.  I'd like to present to you why they still can't get it right.  It's a little about how my warped mind works.

It's time to put on your thinking caps.  Or better yet, our opinion caps.  I'm watching Meet the Press.  And of course, the topic of the discussion is Hillary Clinton.  How I wish they would just ignore her.  I wish everyone would just ignore her.  But they went down the gender discrimination route and I got to thinking.  Do I have an issue with her because she is a woman?  Is this what really did in her campaign?

It is childish to taunt and be condescending to HRC supporters and HRC herself.

I just came across this on the Broward4Obama mailing list.  I find it interesting that they are doing this.  Protest Obama?  To quote a robot from the past, "that does not compute"

Are they that much sore losers?  Now they are accusing Obama of not supporting the Florida votes to count.  This is laughable.

For a while now, I've been hearing from the Clinton supporters that she's the most qualified.  I'm talking about supporters from all levels, radio show callers and congress people.  I've heard this from Debbie Wasserman-Shultz.  Now I don't necessarily agree.  I think Obama has the potential to be a spectacular president.  But even if we grant them that she is the most qualified, ready on day one, crossed the threshold, super president ready to happen, none of that matters.

I am a bit tired of rehashing all those old primary stuff.  What I am interested in now is thinking out four years.  I know I don't want the primary to look this way.  So I am going to propose some changes I would like to see.

Quite some time ago, I abandoned the Clinton vs Obama competition.  I live in Florida where we have no clue how to run elections anyway.  But the entire thing left me mentally exhausted.  These days, I don't engage much in that discussion.  I don't really know anyone in states that left to vote.  But I think about things.  And that is why I'm here today.

A friend of mine got an email from someone.  I still have to investigate if she knows this person directly and who she got the email from.  I am sure that many of you have seen something like this before.  If you haven't seen this, I want you to be aware of what is being passed around.

This is a rant.  You have been warned.

Now we are at the point where I am counting on the general public to be smart.  God help us if they are not.  I am counting on the public to see past this nonsense called Hillary Clinton. If you are a Clinton supporter you can ignore what I have to say or read on and realize that this woman is now officially an asshole.

Here in South Florida, I started seeing ads on TV telling the public to call their congressman to urge them to pass the Senate version of the surveillance bill.  They named, Ron Klein, my congressman by name.
This isn't a long diary.  But I'd like some thoughts on how to combat this.
