More of this Muslim Nonsense

Sun Apr 06, 2008 at 12:24:55 PM PDT

A friend of mine got an email from someone.  I still have to investigate if she knows this person directly and who she got the email from.  I am sure that many of you have seen something like this before.  If you haven't seen this, I want you to be aware of what is being passed around.

Below is an email I go from my friend a few days ago.

My name is Dan Brown. No, I am not the author, Dan Brown, whom I admire very much. Rather, I am just a 75 year old retiree with lots of time on my hands who loves the United States of America with all that's within me.

I am not a patriot. I have never served in the armed forces of this great nation, to my sorrow, but due to circumstances which you don't care about. I have never made a big mark in this world.

I hold dearly to conservative principles.  I am a Christian and am very proud of it. I am not a coward - but i am petrified.

We are facing the real possibility that Barack Obama will be the next president of this nation. No one knows anything about this man except that he does have great charisma. He has not at any time during this campaign revealed what he stands for, what he believes in, other than Obama, nor what his plans are to effect change which he talks about unceasingly.

I am not an insider. I have no proof of what I believe, but I do believe that with the resources I do not have that most of the following could be established.

I believe that when Michelle Obama made her infamous statement on Tuesday of this week that for the first time in my life I am proud of my country; she probably made the most truthful statement of the campaign. She just failed to name what her country is. I believe that it is obvious that her country as well as that of her husband is not the United States of America.  Her pride in her country stems from her belief that they are on the verge of transforming the greatest country in the world to an islamic nation.

We all were astounded with the amount of money which came into the Obama campaign coffers early in this year, just when it was needed. I believe the source is not very mysterious. I believe this money was distributed in amounts which would not raise a flag to a great many poor people, dishwashers, taxi drivers, waiters, etc., to be donated to the campaign, by middle-eastern forces which are very anonymous.

We have eight months in which we must bring some of this to the attention of the American people. We cannot allow Barack Obama to be elected president of this nation.

If this article can achieve the attention that I hope that it will, I would expect reprisals. What greater service could I be to my country..

Emphasis is my own

Here is a little dissection for our mutual amusement.

He has not at any time during this campaign revealed what he stands for, what he believes in

As far as a religious affiliation, I know that Barack Obama has stated many many times that he is a Christian.  I guess Dan was watching too much Fox Noise.

nor what his plans are to effect change which he talks about unceasingly

Barack Obama's website has all the details you could possibly want.  And that information has been there for more than a year.

I have no proof of what I believe

This one says it all.  He's making this shit up.

I believe that it is obvious that her country as well as that of her husband is not the United States of America.

Obvious you say?  Really? Obvious?

Her pride in her country stems from her belief that they are on the verge of transforming the greatest country in the world to an islamic nation.

Based on his admitted lack of information, the writer appears to be able to read Michelle Obama's mind.

just when it was needed

Contributions to Obama's campaign have been steady.  It was not just when it was needed.

I would expect reprisals.

Exactly what type reprisals are you expecting?

In general, the writer appears to be someone who forgot to take his medication some time in February.  The 9/11 conspiracy geeks have more credibility.  It amazes me that someone can wake up one morning and have this thought pattern appear in their heads.  I would like to send Mr. Brown a tin foil hat.  I think it will protect him from the alien rays that are somehow disrupting his mind.
