What Attacks Will They Bring

Now that we have a nominee, I started thinking about what attacks the repubs will bring.  What sort of base vile crap will they think of?  

I'd like to list everything I can think of.  Then, as they come out, we can check them off the list.

I'll admit that this is somewhat wacky thinking.  So if you disagree with me, I won't take offense.  I'm just glad we're no longer talking about the primary.

As I was saying, what if we listed out all the stupid attacks they will throw at Senator Obama?  Can we predict them all?  Let's see how good prognosticators we can all be.  

There is no question that the republicans will have no choice to do this.  Even if McCain says he wants to keep things clean. Stupid smear campaigns that appeal to base emotions will be their only option.  If they don't, Obama will wipe up the floor with them.

I realize that 527 style attacks are the only real avenue that conservatives can take because they are limited in the money they can donate directly to the candidate. And 527s are not linked directly to candidates, so McCain does not have to take any responsibility for whatever skewed warped misleading message they put out.

I'm going to set up a separate web site to track these points so that they are stored in a single immovable place.  Until then, let's see how good we can be starting now.

1. Race - Appeal to racists and those who otherwise won't vote for a black person.
2. Tony Rezko - Highlight Tony Rezko and link him to Obama as if they were best friends.
3. Reverend Wright - Replay the reverend wright video incessantly and make it seem as if he represents Obama.
4. William Ayers - Link Obama to William Ayers and imply that Obama is friendly with terrorists.

Now, if I came across negative, I apologize in advance. That isn't my intent.  I'd really like these things to be "been there done that" by the time they come out.
